Pieces of a Puzzle

I just left our first tradeshow of the year. They are always exhausting, exciting, challenging and ultimately, a great way to prepare for the year ahead. Without question, one of the best parts of any tradeshow are the other vendors I get to meet. This year, I got to meet a 6th generation bell manufacturer and a tiny brand making tiny puzzles (formerly out of their two bedroom apartment).

Those tiny puzzles, and meeting these awesome people, got me thinking about all the unique and intricate ways we all fit together:
• no matter how hard we try, there are some folks we just don’t fit with. We can try to force it, but ultimately, being ourselves and finding where we fit best is the most worthwhile plan
• Even when we don’t fit right next to eachother, we are all vitally important in creating the big picture
• Even people who appear just the same have their own unique qualities that make them one of a kind
• Even when we have nearly everything figured out, a missing piece makes the big picture incomplete
• Puzzles, even tiny ones, can take a long time to complete, but these kinds of milestones are just what our minds and hearts need to remind us of our tenacity
• Teamwork makes dreamwork, and many hands make a lighter load

With these ideas in mind, we are going to create a gnome puzzle….I mean, we have to, right? And if we learn to build the tiny puzzles, maybe the bigger ones will be easier to solve.

To teamwork and tiny puzzles,
Team Gnome 🌈
