Childhood magic and family interactions do not have to be a big production.
I was very excited to welcome Gustav to the library. Once I learned about the story and purpose of “My Gnome on the Roam ® ”, I felt it was important message to share with our patrons. Childhood magic and family interactions do not have to be a big production. Gustav teaches us that some of the best adventures together can be the simplest.
Using it in the classroom is a very creative way to encourage students
My Gnome on the Roam ® is an amazing adventure of hope and traveling to new places! The story was very well written with alliteration, sensory details, and the highs and lows of a well-crafted adventure story. The story sparked imagination in the kids and the kit idea where kids can design their own gnome and have lots of adventures will spark even more imagination. The concept of using it in the classroom is a very creative way to encourage students and teachers to make more connections with each other!
My Gnome on the Roam helps me be present for every blinking moment.
My Gnome on the Roam ® helps me be present for every blinking moment. For me, becoming aware of how to take advantage of these 'little pockets of time that might otherwise be wasted' is a revolutionary solution. I don't have to try to make extra time, or feel bad when I'm already overwhelmed. I can just focus on what I do have.
